A big-bodied warthog down within eyesight. This nice warthog boar was hunted on foot with a bow at a mere 20 yards!
We were not after warthog that day and our eyes were set on some Blue Wildebeest instead. As we came into range for the wildebeest, this guy popped up out of the blue! As he started walking straight towards us, not knowing where we were or what we were, he came to a mere 5 meters from us! Just there we decided to change our plans and shoot the warthog instead. As he walked towards us, he saw us behind the thin tree where we were standing behind and ran, as he ran I pulled my bow and just as he stood still I put a perfectly placed arrow right through his heart!
